Abrasion-resistant 3-layer Gore-Tex polyester fabric forms an impervious barrier against wind and water, and it breathes well to maintain a dry interior. All seams are taped to prevent moisture from seeping in. Full-length, water-resistant side zippers make the pants a cinch to get on and off, even while wearing ski or snowboard boots; snap-close waist and zippered fly. Articulated knees reduce excess fabric and improve mobility; internal gaiters prevent snow from getting into your boots. Hand pockets have water-resistant zippers to keep moisture out. Cordura nylon scuff guards at the hems stand up to abrasion. The Marmot Spire shell pants offer a regular fit.
